Vivian Anderson

Vivian Anderson is one of Australia’s most experienced traditional Aboriginal Dancers; he graduated from NAISDA, the National Aboriginal Dance Academy in 1994 after beginning training in 1989. Vivian is from the Gungulu tribe in Central Queensland, as is one of the founder members of the Ngaru Dance Company, Sydney’s first professional Traditional Aboriginal and Islander Dance Company formed in Sydney in 1993. Vivian performs both indigenous styles of dance Mainland and Islander, and has toured the world extensively.
