Jason Sandy is an Aboriginal performer from the Mununjali tribe from the Beau Desert in Queensland near Logan Valley. His Totem is the Wedge Tail Eagle or (Mibin), most of the Mununjali tradition was lost, but Jason and his family went to great lengths to research the stories and legends about his clan, and today the flame of the ”Mununjali” is alive & well.
Jason is a Dancer, Didgeridoo Player, and Song man, he begun dancing with Descendance in Alice Springs in 2002, by 2003 he had taken over as the operations manager of the daily shows.
Jason has worked with Australian international superstar Xavier Rudd and was instrumental in developing a musical called “Dreamtime People” at Sanctuary Cove Queensland with Ku Ku Yalangi tribal elder Graham Brady.
